Oswego County Opportunities, one of the top ten largest private employers in Oswego County, has welcomed two new members to the agency’s staff. The new employees, who will join the OCO’s staff of human services professionals, recently completed the agency’s orientation process and will begin to serve consumers in their respective programs.
In recognition of National Hospice Month in November, four Oswego County restaurants are joining with the Friends of Oswego County Hospice to support the Hospice Program in Oswego County. Canale’s, The Blue Moon Grill, Arena’s Eis House, and Ruby Tuesday in Oswego will all be donating a portion of one day’s sale to the Friends of Oswego County Hospice.
Dentist Kwi Lee has recently joined the dental practice at Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc. at its Pulaski Health Center. Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families assists and empowers victims of domestic violence through prevention education for at-risk individuals and groups.

The Oswego County Health Department recently held a clinic for employees to receive their flu shots. More than 500 people were vaccinated during the three-hour practicum.

Members of The Oswego Fire Department met with staff of Oswego County OB/GYN wearing their shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both groups wore their respective shirts for the month and the fire department presented shirts bearing the Oswego Fire Department logo to Raj Mahajan MD and Judith DiMarco F.N.P.
