Oswego Health’s board-certified cardiologist Thomas Grady Jr., returns as the guest speaker at an Ask the Doctor presentation at 6 p.m. September 24. His presentation will be held in the lower level JPC conference room of the Oswego Health Services Center, which is adjacent to Oswego Hospital.
A benefit will be held for John Lewis, 4, who has stage four Neuroblastoma, which is a rare form of cancer. The event will be held from noon until 5 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Fulton Polish Home on West First Street. John is the son of Bill and Sonya Lewis and has four siblings at home.
The city of Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation is once again sponsoring Line Dance Instruction featuring popular dance instructor, Phil Eno. Instruction will begin in the city of Fulton Municipal Building Community Room at 141 S. First St. on Tuesday September 10 at 7 p.m.

The Oswego Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual fall bazaar on October 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day in the hospital lobby. An Oswego business, Harbor Towne Gifts and Souvenirs, has graciously donated a Winter Frost Church from Dept. 56’s Christmas Village series.
On one Sunday each month, First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St. continues to show, free of charge, full-length movies. Many are newly released. On September 15, starting at 2 p.m., the church will show another enjoyable movie well suited to older adults.

Lee White Museum and Maritime Center is pleased to present its September lecture “The Impact of the War of 1812 at Home and on our Nation” by Michael Pittavino on Sept. 14 at 1:30 p.m.The War of 1812 was a turning point in American history, improving our commerce, industry and technology, which lead to the great westward expansion of the United States.
