UPDATE: Zachary R. Bentley was taken into custody by the City of Fulton Police Department and is being held on a New York State Parole Violation Warrant, Fulton Police reported at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
At about 1:30 a.m. (March 20) A Fulton Police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction at which time the vehicle fled.

Unique to Fulton, Mayor Ronald Woodward Sr. has developed an innovative solution to tackling tax foreclosed properties throughout the city. Woodward uses a set of guidelines to decide whether a tax-foreclosed residence is able to be rehabbed and sold at full market value.

Earlier this year, the Granby Town Board unanimously agreed to pass a resolution to annex the campground into Fulton city limits. Shortly after, the Fulton Common Council unanimously passed a resolution to accept the campground along with 30 acres of marshland into the city.

The Fulton City School District began a new endeavor in the 2018-2019 school year by participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) offering free breakfast and lunch to all students districtwide. In five months worth of data in the 2018-2019 school year compared to the same months in the 2017-2018 school year, participation in school meals has increased by more than 50,000 lunches served and more than 42,000 breakfasts served districtwide.
