Huhtamaki Supports Fulton Block Builders in More Ways Than One

Mark Southwick and Joe McConnell recently presented Linda Eagan with a check for $1,000.00 to support the Fulton Block Builder (FBB) matching grant program. In addition to the financial support Mark and Joe spent time learning about the program from Linda and John and brainstormed more ways that Huhtamaki could lend more support to this program. One of the most exciting ideas to come out of the session was Huhtamaki’s suggestion to help FBB advertise during the period that FBB applications are being accepted (January through March).

Fulton Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash on Route 481

The investigation has revealed a 2011 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, operated by Andrew J. Lafleur, 58, from Fulton, was southbound on State Route 481 in the passing lane when he lost control of the motorcycle, exited the roadway, and struck the center guide rail.

Fulton Man Charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm

On August 7, the city of Fulton Police Department executed a search warrant at 207 Beech St., Apartment 5, in the city of Fulton. As a result of the search warrant and investigation, Robert D. O’Connor was arrested on August 9 for Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a Class E felony.

David C. Webb Memorial Park Bathing Beach in Constantia is Closed

The Oswego County Health Department announced today (August 8) that the David C. Webb Memorial Park Bathing Beach on Oneida Lake is closed to swimming due to the visual presence of a blue-green algal bloom. Several public beaches in Oswego County on Lake Ontario remain open to swimming.

Fulton Schools Offer Free Breakfast, Lunch for All Students

Fulton City School District has been approved for participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) offering free breakfast and lunch daily to all students districtwide. Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth enrolled at any of the six district schools as well as students at the 4th Street CiTi BOCES location will be offered a nutritional breakfast and lunch each day, free of any cost to district students or families. There is no application or fee required with no action needed from district families. “They just show up, and students have free meals,” FCSD Superintendent Brian Pulvino said.

Hollenbeck, 48, of 113 Flood Drive, Fulton, for second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a class D Felony; two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a class D Felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor .

On June 15, 2016, at 8:14 pm, State Police responded to 903 Allen Road in the town of Clay for a report of a residential fire. On Monday, July 30, 2018, upon the conclusion of a two-year investigation, State Police in Lysander arrested the owner of that residence, 38-year-old, Scott A. Rockwell, from 868 Rowlee Road, Fulton.
