The Fulton Police Department wants to remind people NOT to deposit snow/ice in the streets. With the poor weather and daily snow accumulations over the past month, many residents are running out of places to put the snow. There have been reports of snow being plowed, blown and shoveled into the street. Placing snow/ice in the roadway creates a hazardous condition for vehicular traffic, which are forced to drive into or around the obstacle.
Members of the Fulton community are joining forces with school district officials as the 2015-2016 school budget process unfolds in the coming months. The collaborative effort kicked off in January as parents, board of education representatives, FCSD administrators and community members came together for a budget committee meeting.

In a brief ceremony in the Fulton High School art room Crast was very emotional and excited when Oswego Harborfest Executive Director Doug Buske announced that her work was chosen to represent this year’s celebration.
The FCSD Comprehensive District Education Plan Committee met recently at a planning workshop to discuss district goals and student achievement for the next three years. According the school website, “The FCSD CDEP plan coordinates the district instructional programs, curricula, assessments, grant supported programs and policies and procedures toward the goal of ensuring student mastery of the NYS learning standards.” The current CDEP will conclude at the end of this June.

Nichole D. Burr, 19, and Brandon E. Lane II, 23, both residing at 213 Utica St., Apartment #1, Fulton, were arrested on February 11 at about 3 p.m. following an on-going heroin investigation. During the course of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at 213 Utica St., Apartment #1 by members of the city of Fulton Police Department, Oswego County Drug Task Force and city of Oswego Police Department.
