Hannibal Board of Ed Holds Special Session Tonight
While they wait for the budget vote results to come in, members of Hannibal’s Board of Education will hold a special meeting. The 8:30 p.m. meeting is an executive session with the stated purpose of discussing negotiations.
Executive sessions are closed to the press and public.

Here’s a rare thing: A Board of Education rejecting a contract extension for the Superintendent of Schools. That’s what happened in Hannibal, and it may mean the end of Superintendent Mike DiFabio’s tenure at the end of the next school year. Some of the reasons for the tension between administration and some board members was on display at a meeting Wednesday night.
