Woman Injured in Oswego Crash; Victim Identified, in Critical Condition

UPDATE Crash Victim identified. Is in critical condition.
An elderly female suffered serious injuries today (June 15), as a result of a motor vehicle collision on Murray Street. The single-car accident occurred around 3:15 p.m., in front of 27 Murray St., on the west side of Oswego. Oswego Fire Department officials said that the vehicle was traveling south, left the road and struck a tree.

Spy, starring Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham, is ridiculous fun. McCarthy has the charm of your unspoken thoughts and the personality of your kooky aunt combined. The dialogue will make you laugh while the action makes you cringe with amusement. I’m aware that’s an oxymoron and I meant what I wrote. Spy is a likable mock 007 film. Right away, the film establishes that it’s in on the joke, and runs with it. It’s so funny that I cannot think of any reason why you should not go,

Drug Task Force Announces Meth Lab Arrests

On Thursday (June 11), at approximately 5:20 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force and Oswego City Police Department acted on information regarding a possible methamphetamine lab at 196 E. Second St., Oswego. Investigators spoke with occupants of the residence and received consent to search. Materials and equipment utilized to manufacture methamphetamine were observed within the home as well as a garage on the property, according to police.

State Police Investigate Bank Robbery in Mexico

State Police in Pulaski today (June 11) are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Pathfinder Bank located at 3361 Main St., Mexico. A white male entered the Pathfinder Bank at approximately 1:35 p.m., handed the teller a note and left the bank on foot. The suspect is described as 6′ tall, 170 pounds, with a mustache and facial hair.

Hotel Construction To Start Soon In Oswego

Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen has announced that Branch Commercial, a Malone, NY-based hotel development company, will begin construction in the next two weeks of a new, 81-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites in the City of Oswego. The site of the new Holiday Inn Express is located adjacent and to the north of the Ruby Tuesday restaurant on Route 104, east of the downtown business corridor.
