911coordinators from all over New York State attended training sessions, business seminars, and mingled with vendors over the three days. Senator Patty Ritchie was one of the featured speakers. UPDATE: No injuries were reported however the single family residence sustained heavy fire, water and smoke damage. At 1:17 a.m. May 11 the Oswego Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 215 Duer St. on the east side of the city. About 15 minutes into the incident all interior crews were pulled from the structure due to deteriorating conditions.

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Fulton have arrested three teens as a result of an investigation into a stolen assault rifle. On Tuesday, May 7, the State Police in Fulton received a report of a stolen rifle from a residence in the town of Granby.
On May 3, individuals involved in law in Oswego County ranging from judges to lawyers to law secretaries gathered in the Oswego County Courthouse to recognize Law Day. The afternoon was organized by Oswego County Bar Association President Kristin Shanley. Members of Oswego Players took to the front of the courtroom to stage an adaptation of “Susan B,” a play by Gary Paul Lehmann.
At about 6 a.m. today (May 8), members of the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested 31-year-old Kevin J. Ridlon of 59 W. Fourth St.. Oswego, in regards to a burglary that had occurred on Sunday April 28 at 7 Third Ave., commonly referred to as “C’s Market.”
