At its meeting Tuesday night, the Oswego School Board unanimously voted to present a referendum on the May 15 ballot for a large capital project. Voters will be asked to allow the district to spend up to $15 million on the project. The proposed cost of the work at five of the seven schools comes to $14,952,501, according to Superintendent Bill Crist.
The Common Council voted 6-1-1 Monday night to approve reinstatement of the city Zoning Enforcement Officer. Some residents spoke out in favor of the position prior to the meeting.

He could relapse really quickly, because his type of cancer has no cure. “So we are all research based – St. Baldrick’s actually funds the hospitals we go to,” his mother said.
