Amy Quonce is in the process of compiling stories from people in Upstate New York whose lives have been affected by an individual with a disability. These stories are going to be in an anthology that is going to press on Nov. 6. The anticipated released date for this book is the beginning of December.

New Pineville Bridge Is Open
Construction on the county Route 48 bridge, otherwise known as the Pineville Bridge, is now complete. The new bridge opened on Oct. 27 and officials recently attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony where it crosses the Salmon River in the hamlet of Pineville.

Oswego Man Facing Felony Drug Charges
Police say, upon a search of his residence, they located and seized 8 bags containing a total of 78 MDMA pills, commonly known as Ecstasy, and 41 individually packaged bags of marijuana with an aggregate weight of approximately 40 grams.
