House Destroyed by Fire, Three Hospitalized

66 Liberty Street__003UPDATED 12:05 p.m.:  The probable cause of the house fire this morning at 66 Liberty St in Oswego appears to be accidental and associated to cooking on the stove, according to Fire Chief Jeff McCrobie.  While the investigation is not complete, at this time that appears to be the cause.

One person, a three-year-old, was taken to Oswego Hospital and transferred to Upstate in Syracuse to be treated for smoke inhalation, Fire Chief Jeff McCrobie told Oswego County Today. Two adults were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
