This event is a fundraiser for the many local youth and community organizations in Oswego, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to charity. The public is encouraged to join us for an evening of fun at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center from 6 – 11 p.m. Tickets are just $45 per person, which includes great food and award-winning entertainment.

Ray Bodley High School, the Fulton City School District Board of Education was able to preview the upcoming high school musical presentation, Oklahoma! Set to hit stage for the public next week on March 3, 4, and 5, the Quirk’s Players have been tirelessly working to perfect their performance and be stage ready. All their hard work was shown through their small preview for the members of the Board of Education and those in attendance at the meeting, but the Quirk’s Players had another surprise for Superintendent Bill Lynch.
Cre8 Studios/ Friends of Oswego announced that they will push forward with the proposed St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Oswego despite heated discussions with some city councilors. The free public event intended to celebrate the Irish culture will take place March 12, from 1-2 p.m.
New emergency notification sirens installed by Exelon Generation and Entergy Nuclear have gone into service following approval by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Dale Currier, director of the Oswego County Emergency Management Office, said today (Feb. 24). A new siren testing schedule is also now in effect.
One person was injured in a tractor-trailer – car crash at Route 104 and State Route 3 earlier this afternoon (Feb. 24). One female was transported to Upstate in Syracuse via Menter Ambulance.
The Fulton School District Board of Education has accepted and approved the contractor bid for the 2016 capital project after a presentation at Tuesday’s (Feb 23) regular board meeting. The 2016 capital project is an extension of the 2012 and 2014 capital projects and will be funded using leftover money from those two prior referendums.
