Schumer Water Resources Bill Heads To President’s Desk

For the past year, the senator has pushed members of the conference committee that were drafting the final bill language to include these provisions in the bill. Novelis Announces Five-Year Financial Stability Plan

“With the bulk of business that we already have under our belt, if you will, we were able now to give the workforce a five-year picture to what the rates and benefits are going to look like through the end of 2019,” the Oswego plant manager said. “In that we can confirm what their annual pay raise is going to be starting the first of January next year. They’re going to get a three percent pay raise through the end of 2019, each year.”

Fulton School District Voters Say ‘Yes’ to Budget, BOE and Library

The preliminary tally of Tuesday’s votes is in and the Fulton City School District community voiced its approval for the $67.4 million budget by a nearly two-to-one margin.
“Our budget passed,” Superintendent Bill Lynch said Tuesday night. “We had a very good voter turnout, which is what we always seek. That was gratifying. The community supported our budget and we’re very pleased for the continued support.”
