Jefferson County’s public schools will receive $8.7 million in additional aid, Oswego County schools will receive $5.4 million, and 12 districts in St. Lawrence County that are included in Senator Ritchie’s district will receive $6.1 million additional.

Come to the fourth annual Oswego War of 1812 Symposium next weekend at the Lake Ontario Conference and Event Center on East First Street in Oswego. On April 3, the Fulton Police Department, along with law enforcement officers around the state, will participate in an Operation Safe Stop day. During “Safe Stop,” police officers are in marked patrol units enforcing the New York State Traffic Law which requires all vehicles to stop for stopped school busses with their red lights flashing.
