Operators removed Nine Mile Point Unit 2 from service at approximately 12:30 a.m. today (March 24) to begin the station’s planned refueling outage. During the outage, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group employees and more than 1,200 supplemental workers will perform more than 2,000 maintenance activities, tests and safety inspections on a variety of plant components and systems.

He and some family members hope to break six Guinness Fitness Records in an hour in support of the Patterson family. The Pattersons were involved in a serious car wreck caused by an alleged drugged driver.
According to sheriff’s deputies, the crash happened at 11:25 p.m. on State Route 13 in the town of Richland, one quarter mile east of State Route 3. The one-car MVA claimed the life of the sole occupant and driver of the 2006 Chevrolet, Harry L. Bartlett Jr., 31, of 109 Sage Creek Road, Mexico.
