The 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour recruited Joseph Bertonneau to the Army All-American Marching Band. He will take part in the halftime performance of the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He is the 10th Oswego student selected since 2007. The game will be televised live on NBC, from the Alamodome on Jan. 5, 2013.
The Oswego Opera Theater is pleased to announce the first production of its new 2012-2013 schedule, presenting a “Welcome Back” concert on November 11 at 2:30 p.m. in Waterman Theater in Tyler Hall on the SUNY-Oswego Campus. Representatives from the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour will visit Oswego High School on Wednesday to officially select clarinet player Joseph Bertonneau to the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. Oswego High School will honor Bertonneau before his fellow band members, classmates, fans and family during a post rehearsal assembly.
Band Director Scott Ciesla said, “The Marching Bucs performed very well. We had two excellent practices on the trip and it really paid off. We finished with a score of 80.79 which was good for fourth place out of eight. We just missed third place by just two tenths of a point.”
They’re charged with unlawful manufacture of Methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of Methamphetamine. The arrests stem from an investigation into a domestic dispute at a residence in the town of Sandy Creek.
