Tax Reduction Deal Approved by Fulton for Birds-Eye Plant

An aerial view of the Birds-Eye plant.Fulton city lawmakers Wednesday approved a deal that will sharply cut property taxes on the closed Birds-Eye plant but which avoids some pain for taxpayers.

The plant is valued at $7.6 million.  Next year, the plant will be taxed at a value of $3.9 million and the year after that, $1.9 million.

Fulton Woman arrested for Robbery

Fulton Police have arrested Sabrina M. Borden, 21 of West First Street North, Fulton. She was reportedly going through a car stealing various items. When confronted by the owners of the vehicle, Borden allegedly sprayed the couple with pepper spray and then displayed a knife.

Williamstown Pair Facing Drug Charges

On 10/08/12 at 6:44 p.m., Timothy P. Maloney, 51, and Timothy C. Maloney, 25, both of 258 State Route 183, Williamstown, were each arrested for first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class C felony, and unlawful growing of cannabis, a class A misdemeanor.
