Hundreds Turn Out To Support Oswego’s Troops
Oswego’s 444th Engineer Company of the U.S. Army Reserves received an emotional sendoff Tuesday as they prepare for a year’s deployment in Afghanistan. Several hundred family members, friends and supporters packed the bleachers in Max Ziel Gym at Laker Hall on the SUNY Oswego campus.

Only a bit more than 7 inches of snow fell in the Port City area on Monday. Locations to the south suffered the brunt of Old Man Winter’s return.
