Brookfield Renewable Power Urges Anglers To Fish Safely At Varick Hydropower Dam On Oswego River
Brookfield Renewable Power announces that it has implemented enhanced safety tools and warnings for anglers who recreate on or near the company’s Varick Hydropower Dam on the Oswego River. These new tools and warnings supplement the already existing system of warnings, which included signage and a Fishermen’s Alert System, among other features.
United Way Asks Public To Help Them Help Everyone
The United Way of Greater Oswego County kicked off its 2011 – 2012 campaign Wednesday at The American Foundry citing a need for immediate assistance. Melanie Trexler, executive director of the United Way, recognized “all the hard-working individuals who work for those agencies who address the needs of our community.
