Fulton Waiting For Water Sample Results

Fulton Water Works Superintendent John Florek continues to collect water samples around the city today while he waits for the results of samples collected Monday. Florek says he suspects that test results will show that a sample taken from a small Fulton car dealership that tested positive for E. coli bacteria was an isolated incident. If that is confirmed, Florek said that a boil water advisory that has been in place since Saturday could be lifted by Wednesday afternoon.

Boil Water Order Issued In Fulton

UPDATED: The City of Fulton has issued a Boil Water order effective immediately, through at least Tuesday.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Under the advisory, residents on the cityÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s water system are asked not to drink water from the tap. Rather, any tap water used for cooking, drinking, washing dishes, brushing teeth or making ice should first be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it is used.
