Woman Rescued From Oswego River, Hospitalized

Persons had reported to 911 that they could intermittently hear a woman screaming in that area and believed the screams to be originating from the river. The Oswego Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area and conducted a search.

The Fulton Fire Department was dispatched at 6:26 p.m, on 12/26/19 to 10 Maiden Lane for a reported stove fire. Crews arrived at 6:32 p.m. and observed heavy fire venting from the kitchen window.

It’ll be cloudy and cool Christmas Eve with highs about 35 degrees, December 25 will be cloudy and cool with a high near 30; the chance of new snow is slim. But enough will be left on the ground for a white Christmas.

12 Displaced By House Fire

The Fulton Fire Department responded to 724 Oneida St. at 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 21. The Fulton Fire Department arrived on scene in 4 minutes where we observed a two-story wood frame residence with heavy fire showing from the front of the sevond story. Four adults and eight children were displaced.
