State Police arrested Samantha J. Rizzo, 46, from 64 Country Lane, Fulton, for Animal Cruelty (Agriculture and Markets Law § 353), a class “A” misdemeanor. On June 8, 2018, State Police responded to an animal abuse case in the town of Hannibal.

Fire Strikes Oswego Home

Oswego firefighters made quick work of a fire in a single-family home on Lyon Street, on the city’s east side, just after 11 p.m. on Sunday. Two adults and three children were able to escape the flames thanks to working smoke detectors. No injuries were reported.

DeWitt Murder-Robbery Suspect Arrested in Fulton

A Syracuse man who allegedly killed two Chili’s Restaurant workers during a robbery at the Shoppingtown Plaza, DeWitt, business on Saturday was reportedly captured and arrested early today in Fulton. William D. Wood Jr., 32, was arrested at about 1 a.m., according to a report by the DeWitt Police Department.
