SUNY Oswego’s University Police will host the fourth annual “Drive Safe, Live Safe” program at 6 p.m. March 27, in Marano Campus Center arena, a free public event featuring keynote speaker Marianne Angelillo. “Drive Safe, Live Safe,” for all drivers but especially geared toward those ages 17 to 25, promotes responsible driving to prevent alcohol- and drug-related incidents.

Operators returned Entergy Corp.’s FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant to full power operation today following a refueling and maintenance outage that began on January 14. During the outage, more than 1,600 workers replaced about one-third of the reactor’s fuel and upgraded equipment, readying the plant for continued safe and reliable operation.
