State Police in Pulaski arrested Gary A. Bubis Jr., 36, from Pulaski, for Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree, a class “A” misdemeanor; Criminal Mischief 4th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor; Criminal Obstruction of breathing, a class “A” misdemeanor and Harassment 2nd degree, a violation.
On Tuesday, State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 690 in Lysander for operating with a suspended registration. Troopers interviewed the operator, Ronald Bacon, and determined he allegedly possessed a revoked license, and the vehicle he was driving was not insured.

The Upstate Energy Jobs Coalition released the following statement in response to a study released by Alliance for a Green Economy. For more than a year now, we have heard opposition groups voice disapproval of the Clean Energy Standard’s nuclear provision. The study released Monday (Feb. 13) is no different and, more importantly, unsubstantiated.
At its meeting Tuesday night, the Common Council authorized the mayor to sign all documents necessary to accept the proposal submitted by Wladis Law Firm for revisions to the Zoning Ordinance and further authorized the transfer of funds for same. It will be the first significant update to the ordinance since 1980.
On Sunday, February 19, the Oswego County Humane Society will have some of the Boylston “Sweet Sixteen” cats for adoption at the PetSmart store at Lowe’s Plaza in Oswego as part of PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Weekend. They will be available for adoption from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
