It is with delight I say a hearty thank you for the wonderful support CNY Arts Center received from businesses, organizations, members and media coverage, for our first Cabaret Songs of the Seasons.
While I am glad to read that Legislator Malone is apparently ending this back and forth, I notice that he cannot help himself but continue his pointless attack in his letter published on Feb. 28, 2013 on www.oswegocountytoday.com. I believe many of the “facts” that Legislator Malone continues to portray as his own are actually rumor, innuendo and long-held grudges.
I am not going to keep going back and forth in the media with County Clerk Mike Backus. It’s apparent he believes what goes on in his fantasy world. Backus cannot see what’s wrong with his purchase of lunch for legislators?
Once again I feel it is my duty to respond to allegations made by Legislator Doug Malone. He published some comments that he purports to be his own in a lengthy submission to OswegoCountyToday.com on Feb. 22, 2013.
County Clerk Mike Backus and Legislator Louella LeClair really have honed their skills as spin doctors.
The recently passed SAFE Act in New York State is riddled with infringements regarding ownership of firearms by law abiding citizens.
While I don’t oppose the resolution the legislature has prepared in opposition of the NY SAFE gun legislation, I do wish we could spend as much time on other pressing issues that need attention.
On behalf of the hundreds of children and their families that we serve at the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County I would like to thank those caring businesses and individuals who helped to make our second annual Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest such a success!
I would like to thank you! Maybe you donated, lent a helping hand, spent time with the Palmer family, assisted us in our time of need. Whatever it may have been, we would like you to know how greatly we appreciate you!
I am tired of hearing how horrible the Oswego city firemen are. For God’s sake, will you complain when they come to help you while your property is burning down? Will you spit in their faces when they’re giving you CPR?
