For anyone who may have read the letter about me in the media, I want you to be aware that the letter, from Francis Rhines, claiming to be one of my constituents, is a fake letter.
There is no Francis Rhines living in my district and the only Francis Rhines registered to vote in Oswego County resides in West Monroe.
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Joe Susino and I have been proud to call Oswego home for my entire life. Service to my community has been a cornerstone of my life, and I am running for legislator in order to continue that service.
Due to some questionable letters to the editor being received – all submissions must be signed by the writer and include a daytime phone number where the person can be reached for verification.
The Scriba Food Pantry would like to thank all of those that answered our call for support of the many hungry families right here in our own community. The outpouring of funds and food was enough to keep the panty in operation after losing other funding.
The In-Nova.1 business plan Joe Pilotta first presented to Oswego Common Council more than 12 months ago is grounded in what other Oswego natives already know. It is a city with a distinct place in New York State history and outstanding natural beauty and resources. In-Nova.1 offers job creation in operations, entertainment, management and, critically, professional product and service business roles. It is a win-win proposal for Oswego and its future.
I wish to ask all Oswego County residents to imagine this scenario: You have just boarded a 757 jet airliner to make a travel trip by air, and the flight attendant announces over the intercom that your pilot for the flight will be Captain Fred Beardsley.
I would like to sincerely thank the many parents, guardians and community members I’ve had the honor of working with the last two years during my tenure as principal at Lanigan Elementary School and recently at Volney Elementary School. Your partnership and support are sincerely appreciated.
I extend my sincerest appreciation to the Ladies League at Cold Springs Golf Course for hosting their fourth Annual Rally For The Cure Golf Tournament Against Breast Cancer. Thanks to their effort the event raised $2,764 that was donated to OCO’s Cancer Services Program Partnership.
We’ve been hearing the word “regime” in the news quite a bit lately and I decided to look it up. I was shocked when I saw the definition because it sounded oddly familiar. Here is what it said: “Authoritarian regime” – a government that concentrates political power in an authority not responsible to the people.
