If elected, it is my goal to use my financial expertise to continue to stabilize our tax base. With my background, as a Senior Budget Analysis for Alcan Rolled Products for 21 years prior to self employment, I can contribute new ideas to annual budget preparation.

Having observed elections to boards of education in the Oswego area for about 58 years, I have come to the conclusion that the election of “good” persons to boards is one of the most important decisions made by the voting public. The quality of board members is a key issue in public education today.

I am writing in support of Fran Zaryski for a spot on the Oswego City School District Board of Education. Fran is a man of integrity. He has worked hard in the field of finance his whole life.He spent many years as a senior budget analyst at Alcan and then many more years as a self employed accountant specializing in tax preparation.

More than 300 volunteers scoured the canal corridor including the roadways on both sides of Oswego River, adjacent parking lots, grass and shrub embankments, and pedestrian pathways as well as lake view areas east of Fort Ontario to Rudy’s in the west. They did so with good spirit and stories to tell.
