Two Oswego Hospital physicians will take part in an Ask The Doctor forum on Women’s Health on October 16 in the lower level conference room of the Oswego Health Services Center. Sharing their expertise on a variety of women’s health issues will be Oswego Health surgeons Dawn Holman, MD, and Allison Duggan MD, who also serves as Oswego Hospital vice president and chief operating officer.
Oswego Health will host a Certified Nurse Aide job fair from noon until 6 p.m. October 8 at The Manor at Seneca Hill, located at 20 Manor Drive. Candidates will have the opportunity to learn about the specific duties from CNAs already on the job, as well as take part in onsite interviews.
During the two-day camp held in August, the students had the opportunity to learn first-hand about careers in the healthcare field. The 19 participating eighth and ninth grade students took part in rotations that included the hospital’s laboratory, medical imaging and pharmacy departments, where they took part in hands-on learning activities.
The Manor at Seneca Hill will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 26. Members of the public are invited to participate. The drive will be held in The Manor’s second floor dining room.
