As one of the major employers in the area and the largest healthcare systems in the county, Oswego Health knows firsthand that a highly-educated nursing workforce strengthens the quality of care provided to patients.

Oswego Health established an opportunity for patients, their families, faculty, staff and/or volunteers to recognize a medical staff member or employee for going above and beyond and providing exceptional services.

The Oswego Health Auxiliary has made a generous donation of $15,000 which the health system will use toward the renovation of the medical surgical unit on the third and fourth floor of the hospital.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, the medical staff at the Maternity Center of Oswego Health are better prepared to quickly and safely evacuate newborn babies from the hospital due in part to a recent grant received from the Leadership Council of the Oswego County Community Foundation.

With more than 1,200 employees throughout Oswego County, Oswego Health understands the importance of culture within an organization and how that relates to employee morale and retention.
