The annual Spruce-Up Day will again begin at 10 a.m., a two-hour change from the previous 8 a.m. start in years passed. Among the tasks on hand will be re-painting heat race victory lane, touching up the start/finish line stripe on the main straightaway, as well as cleaning up the walkway leading to the Speedway’s main entrance.

DIRTcar Racing’s Sportsman Modified Series kicks off its 14-race 2015 season on April 25, at Fulton Speedway, and expectations are high as the tour will roll through New York, Ontario and Quebec throughout the year.

The Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super race teams of Josh Kerr, Mark Castiglia, and Alex McRae will all be holding team fundraisers this coming weekend. Oswego Speedway’s 2015 racing season will kick off on May 9.

Oswego Speedway will once again open its gates for free to kids 16 and under, with a paid adult, as well as active military with I.D for all events during 2015 with the exception of Budweiser International Classic Weekend and SUNOCO Race of Champions Weekend to end the season.

Fulton Speedway officials said the recent warm weather was a huge help in getting rid of the final remnants of the long, past winter. Everything is a go to get the 2015 racing season into high gear. This Saturday, April 18, the speedway will have a Test-And-Tune that will be open to any car that runs dirt.

The city of Syracuse is welcoming a brand new football organization as the Syracuse Strong will be entering their inaugural season as a minor league football team. The Syracuse Strong is a non-profit football organization that prides themselves on excellence, commitment and dedication.
