Oswego Speedway’s 58th annual Budweiser International Classic 200 will take the green flag on August 31, and Monday (June 30) a total of eight guaranteed starters were announced for Supermodified racing’s most prestigious event paying in excess of $100,000 in purse and contingency prizes. The eight guaranteed starters represent six different U.S. states across the country.
The summer schedule at Oswego Speedway officially kicks into high gear Saturday, July 5, with the Speedway’s annual Grand Prix Night, featuring extra distance main events, the return of Christmas in July, and a spectacular fireworks display to end the night presented by Canale Insurance – Fleet Pride – and Seminis.
State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced she has secured $150,000 in special funding to support fishing tournaments and boost tourism in the Central and Northern New York regions. The funding will support 15 tournaments, including nine in St. Lawrence, four in Jefferson and two in Oswego County.

For the first time in Oswego Kartway’s history, a traveling tour series will officially take on the Bullring when the RMR Outlaw Series comes to the Port City this Saturday. The Kartway’s normal Friday night championship series will not be in action Friday in order to prepare for the 11-division tour type series to take on the Kartway the following evening.
