Oswego Speedway and Turning Stone Resort Casino have announced the return of the popular ‘Favorite Driver’ contest for the upcoming 2014 racing season at the famed ‘Steel Palace.’ The second year program will once again give fans an opportunity to give something back to their favorite driver at the conclusion of the 2014 racing season.

Oswego Speedway officially announced this week that the Patfinder Bank Small Block Super Series will contend on a softer and wider Hoosier Racing Tire in 2014, similar to what the cars competed with before the 2009 racing season. The Small Block Super division will return to using a 10” wide Hoosier Racing Tire, utilizing a 1057 compound for right side tires and a 1040 compound for left side tires.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference has announced the 2013-2014 ECAC Women’s West Hockey All- Academic Team. Oswego State earned 11 spots out of 91 selections from nine institutions for the All- Academic Team.
