Oswego State student-athletes Jon Whitelaw and Shelly Bateman have been selected as the recipients of the Donald Snygg and Oswego Woman’s Scholar Athlete awards for the 2012-13 year.

Oswego State men’s basketball players Hayden Ward (Montauk, N.Y.) and Sean Michele (East Rochester, N.Y.) have been named to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men’s Basketball teams as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Oswego State senior women’s basketball players Meagan Stover (Lake George, N.Y.) and Kari Kipper (Loudonville, N.Y.) have been named to State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women’s Basketball all-conference teams.

Tickets for the upcoming Oswego State men’s ice hockey SUNYAC Championship game against Plattsburgh will be made available to the general public on Wednesday, February 27.

The Bucs clashed with CBA in the Section III Division II championship and held the upper hand for the majority of the game. However, in the final two and a half minutes the Brothers scored three goals while the Bucs managed just on with CBA coming away with a 4-3 victory to end the Bucs hopes of returning to the state tournament.
