Once in the lead Decker flexed his muscles as he drove away from the field winning by over seven-seconds in the green to checkers race. With his victory, Decker is now the new point leader over defending track champion Jimmy Phelps.
The Oz Roller Girls topped the Crown City Royal Pains 172-109 on the road to raise their record to 4-2 in their debut season of roller derby. Cohesive blocking and high-scoring nights from jammers Certified Public Assassin, with 66 points, and J-Rock-It, with 55, led Oz to the victory at the JM McDonald Sports Complex in Cortland.
