Preparations for the June 25-26th Tri-Oswego 2011 Triathlon are in full stride, and hundreds of participants, their families and friends are anticipated for the weekend of competition and fun-filled activities in Oswego, according to Ron Nelson, Tri-Oswego Race Director.
The community is invited to meet and support members of the new Oz Roller Girls roller derby league when players serve as guest bartenders April 9 at LaGraf’s Pub, 187 E. 10th St.
Oswego State junior forward Chad Burridge was voted ECAC Division III Upstate Player of the Year. Burridge led the Lakers to the second round of the NCAA tournament with an overall record of 24-5.
