The Oswego State Athletic Department announced today that Bobby Wilson, previous assistant coach for the cross country and track and field programs at Division I Bucknell University, has been named to head the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs at Oswego.
Long-time Oswego State men’s lacrosse head coach Dan Witmer will step aside as head coach after 28 seasons following the decision by the college to elevate the position from part-time to full-time status.

Eliza Parker is bound for the New York State Track and Field Championships once again as she qualified for the 100 hurdle competition. Parker shattered her previous best in the 100 meter hurdles with an outstanding time of 15.37 to advance to the state finals. She also earned a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles, with a fine time of 1:06.02, to place second, just missing the state cut time. Meanwhile, the boys’ varsity track and field team wound down the year and the boys’ modified lacrosse team finished a perfect season 10-0.
