Oswego State men’s ice hockey player Jon Whitelaw (Fr., Huntsville, Ont.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Hockey Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 25, 2010. The No. 1-ranked Lakers remained undefeated in conference play at 10-0-0 and moved to 18-1-0 overall on the season after posting wins over Buffalo State and Fredonia.

Chatham tallied two goals on special teams to hand the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team a 4-2 loss at the Campus Center Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The No. 1-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team tallied two power play goals to snap Fredonia’s eight-game winning streak by defeating the Blue Devils 3-1 on Saturday night at the Campus Center Arena in Oswego.

The Oswego State women’s hockey team was unable to get on the scoreboard as it lost to Chatham 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Campus Center Arena in Oswego.
