FULTON, NY ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ Residents at the Fulton Mills Apartments were treated to a special Thanksgiving luncheon courtesy of Catholic Charities of Oswego CountyÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s DonnaÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Place program.
The DonnaÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Place program provides support for men and women to them help remain self-sufficient members of the community.
Under the direction of coordinator Helen Hoefer, the program strives to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the community.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the program provided the Mills Apartments residents with a special luncheon complete with turkey, ham and all the fixings.
ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œIt was great to have all the residents together to enjoy a delicious and nutritious Thanksgiving feast,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â said Hoefer. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œIt was a nice opportunity for them to share a Thanksgiving meal together as many will be spending Thanksgiving Day with their family and friends. I would like to thank Mills ApartmentsÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ activity director Bev Munski and Marlea Stannard, president of the residentsÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ association for helping me coordinate the event and cooking the food.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â
