PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will have a “Cleaning the Attic” yard sale at the museum on July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hot dogs (not from the attic) will be available for sale starting at 11 a.m., as well as lemonade (free with coupon).
The historical society is seeking donated items (except clothing and large furniture) from members, residents and the community.
Items being offered for sale by the society will include magazines and books from the 1800s, antique kitchen implements, tools, trophies, picture frames and duplicate historical photos and postcards.
Also available for purchase will be the recent Arcadia Publishing book, Images of America: Pulaski and the Town of Richland, along with Salmon River Odyssey and other publications about Pulaski’s history produced by the society.
Proceeds of purchases go to help fund the operations of the historical society and towards the museum’s new roof fund, to replace the current roof with a steel roof.
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., in the village, across from Cole Muffler/Brake.
The museum is open in July and August from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Volunteers are available at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
