Community Service was Spring Break Destination for Ithaca College Students

ITHACA, NY — 39 Ithaca College students participated in the college’s Alternative Spring Break program.

Morgan Allen of Oswego traveled to Outer Banks, N.C., to work with the North Carolina Coastal Federation in the upper Outer Banks region on coastal preservation projects, including coastal cleanups and reef restoration.

Timothy Conners of Fulton traveled to Salamanca, N.Y., to assist the staff of the Salamanca Youth Center with academic tutoring and with program activity design and implementation, along with maintenance projects such as painting and making minor repairs.
