In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, staff at St. Luke Health Services held a “Denim Day†fundraiser, with a touch of pink, on behalf of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
For a donation, St. Luke staff was able to wear their favorite pair of blue jeans to work for the day and support the Komen for the Cure in their fight against breast cancer.
The Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, is a not-for-profit global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
