“Stress Management Techniques” to be Presented at September WNET Meeting

Leslie English, managing partner of Dale Carnegie Training in Central New York, will present “Stress Management Techniques” at the next Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting Thursday, Sept. 2, 8 a.m. at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, state Route 481).

English has developed and coached professionals in effective presentation, stress management, sales and leadership skills from over 500 companies throughout Central New York. She has also been invited as a guest presenter for organizations such as The National Rotary Society, Leadership Greater Syracuse, Women Ties Entrepreneurial Association, Junior Achievement, Lockheed Martin Women’s Affinity Group, Future Business Leaders of America Association, and the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce.

Since her career began with Dale Carnegie in 2000, English has received annual sales recognition worldwide as a top producer and award recipient within Dale Carnegie. Her awards include “Rookie of the Year,” “Silver Award Recipient for Top Sales Growth,” consistent production of over $350,000 per year and sales manager recognition of sales over $500,000.

WNET is part of a nationwide roundtable for women business owners, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women business owners.

The cost for each seminar is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. The WNET 2010-2011 (Sept. 2010-Aug.2011) membership cost is $25. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
