Oswego Board Expresses Appreciation to Those Who Assisted Injured Children

OSWEGO, NY – On March 5, a bus accident resulted in six Oswego elementary school
children being injured and taken to the Oswego Health Emergency Room.

At the March 26 Oswego City School District Board of Education meeting the members of the board and superintendent of schools presented a certificate of appreciation to each of the key units involved in assisting in keeping children safe and secure.

A certificate was also presented to Oswego City Police Chief Tory DeCaire and Officer Kevin Hadcock, who was at the scene.

Several Oswego firefighters who were at the accident scene attended to receive the certificate for the department and they included Firefighter Paramedic Carl Emmons, Chief Jeffrey McCrobie, Captain Allen Chase and Lt. David McCullough.
