The Oswego County 4-H Program, part of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, is excited to announce that their winter horse program, Winter Round-Up, is open to any youth, ages eight and older, interested in learning about horses, doing equine-related activities, and having food and fun with friends. Winter Round-Up will be held Friday, February 7th through Sunday, February 9th at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center. No horses attend the event, but each day will be spent learning about horses, and youth will get to know fellow equestrians from Oswego County — and beyond!
Attendees will sleep overnight in the Center’s dormitory and must provide their own chaperone. The cost for each youth is $40.00, and chaperones are $18.00. Fees include all meals, snacks, handouts, hands-on items, and enrollment into the Oswego County 4-H Program. For more information and to register, please visit https://thatscooperativeextension.org/events/2025/02/07/2025-winter-round-up or scan the QR Code to find information on this and other events. Registration and fees are due by Wednesday, January 31, 2025, with no refunds being issued after that date. After registration and fees are received, a confirmation letter with detailed information and permission slip will be sent.
