3rd Annual Victory for Vets Music Fest Will Raise Thousands for Veterans

National recording artist John Waiteformerly with The Babys and Bad English) will headline this year’s Victory for Vets Music Fest in Liverpool.
It will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, August 13, at Sharkey’s Bar and Grill, 7240 Oswego Road. Gates open 11 a.m.
Also performing at this year’s music fest will be:

  • Dirt Road Ruckus
  • Frank and Burns
  • Terry and Joe

 

In addition to his work with The Babys and Bad English, John Waite also received success as a solo artist. 1984’s “Missing You”, was a Number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Victory for Vets Music Fest is an annual benefit for veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress.
Victory for Vets, Inc., has raised nearly $35,000 in the last two years. The group has helped 25 veterans so far by providing them with service dogs to assist them in living more normal lives. That’s 25 lives changed for the better.
