Several members of Friends of Great Bear met and hiked at GB recently with members of the Onondaga Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club.
As part of the hike, the group followed the canal tow path trail, stopping to view the historical guard lock.
The group continued on along the tow path, to the the northern section of the property, viewing a huge red oak.
Heading back, the group enjoyed hiking through both deciduous and pine forests.
