Looking South On S. 1st St., 1920s

Archivist Tom Tryniski sends us this look at downtown Fulton — one of the streets that locals would come to call the “Dizzy Block”.  This is S. 1st St. as it looked sometime in the 1920s.

Now?  There are fewer storefronts and many of them are medical or insurance offices.  But back then, the streets teemed with commerce.

As always, visit Tom’s amazing website, Fultonhistory.com, for much, much more.
