The West Baptist Church will host an Advent Concert featuring the Mexico Brass Ensemble under the direction of Fred Ringwald with guest organist Abel Searor. The concert will start with a Thanksgiving piece followed by the Advent chorale “Wachet Auf†and then moving to such holiday favorites as “Hark the Herald Angels Sing†and “Silent Night.†The concert will feature the brass ensemble separately and together and is an excellent way to spend the first Sunday of Advent.
The Mexico Brass is a community brass and percussion band devoted to good music and good fun. We are from Mexico, NY; and have members from surrounding communities ranging from Fulton, to Amboy, to Baldwinsville.
