OSWEGO – On March 11 and 12, 192 Orchestra students from Oswego and Cayuga counties will come together to prepare and perform an All County Festival Orchestra Concert.
The concert will be held at the Oswego High School Faust Theater for the Performing Arts from 2 to 3 p.m. on March 12.
This concert will feature a large variety of music performed by three orchestras: Elementary, Middle and Senior High.
The concert is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door: $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and students, children under age 5 are free.
The junior high and high school students had to audition for judges in December in order to be chosen to perform in these elite groups.
The students are very excited to get to work with high caliber guest conductors from around the state, they are Rebecca Dodd from the Liverpool School District, Amie Vredenburg from the Williamsville School District and William Mercer former director of Orchestras for the Liverpool School District.
Come enjoy a wonderful hour of music performed by our talented young people.
