OSWEGO COUNTY – The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (APW) High School Student Government is gearing up to host its 38th Annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner, welcoming district seniors for an early taste of Thanksgiving.
The event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 5:00 p.m. in the APW JSHS dining room. Guests will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal featuring turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, squash, vegetables, rolls and homemade pie for dessert.
Attendees can expect a warm, harvest-themed atmosphere, decorated with student-made artwork, as well as live entertainment provided by students and staff. Throughout the evening, there will also be chances to win door prizes donated by local businesses, community members, and school staff.
“We are excited to continue this longstanding tradition and bring the community together for a special meal,” said student government advisor Beth Dunham. “It’s a great way for our students to connect with and honor our senior residents.”
Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling the school’s main office at 315-625-5220 starting on Monday, Nov. 4.
The students and staff of APW JSHS look forward to celebrating with you on Nov. 21.
