AmeriCorps member donates books to Head Start

Chelsey Gorczyca handed out books to the children at Oswego Head Start Pre-K.

Chelsey is an AmeriCorps member serving with the chamber of commerce.

She held a book drive as her community involvement project.

Around 80 books were collected.

Chelsey then gave each Oswego Head Start Pre-K child a book to take home and donated the rest to the classrooms.

Oswego Head Start Pre-K is operated by Oswego County Opportunities, which is an agency of the United Way.
