Andrew’s Wine Cellar To Showcase Argentinian Winemaker Iduna Weinert of Bodega Weinert at September 19th Wine Tasting Event

OSWEGO, New York – Andrew’s Wine Cellar will welcome Argentinian winemaker Iduna Weinert of Bodega Weinert, to their next wine tasting event on Saturday, September 19th from 1-5 p.m.

Weinert will be joined by Steve Shaw, owner of Shaw Vineyards and Rachael Mark, legendary Portuguese Wine & Maderia Importer of Broadbent Selections, at the event.

“What a wonderful blend of wineries for our September 19^th event,” said Andrew Bowman, owner of Andrew’s Wine Cellar.  “Each of the vineyards bring a uniqueness to our fall tasting, and we’re excited to provide their wonderful wines to our customers.”

Founded in 1975 by Don Bernardo C. Weinert, Bodega Weinert is located in Lujan de Cuyo, Argentina. By 1977 Weinert produced Weinert Malbec Star 1977, a wine recognized and acclaimed by the world´s most prestigious wine connoisseurs. Since then, Bodega Weinert has continued producing exceptional, high-quality wine, and is considered to be the top producer in Argentina today.

Located in Himrod, NY, on the west side of Seneca Lake, Steve Shaw established Shaw Vineyards in 1986. Shaw Vineyards quickly earned the reputation for producing some of the finest Vinifera grapes in the New York State Finger Lakes Wine Region. Their first vintage, received gold medals for both Pinot Noir & Cabernet Sauvignon.
